- Time to celebrate!
Sylvia’s inspirational clients sold their book,
8 Ways to Say I Love My Life — an incredible anthology of perseverance, strength, and wisdom—to Arte Publico Press. The book release is this Fall 2012! - The Chula Vista Public Library in San Diego is featuring a Hispanic Literacy Day on September 15, 2012. Sylvia joins Aurelia Flores, founder of Powerful Latinas Talk Show, in a panel on “The Power of Telling Our Stories.”
- This Fall semester at UCSD-Extension, Sylvia is thrilled to be teaching Making Personality Tick: Developing Character for Creative Non-fiction & Memoir again! Tuesday nights, starting October 2, 2012.
- The San Diego Book Awards—a red carpet event—celebrated our homegrown authors. Honored to be keynote speaker that night, Sylvia was inspired by the talent there.
- The National Romance Writers of America Conference was in Anaheim in July, close to home. Again, inspiration everywhere, in all sub-genres.
